BIOGRAPHY

I am a multi media artist working in sculpture, painting, music, film and dance. I am interested in metaphors of time and death and  combining the forces of nature like the wind, rain, water and sun in my pieces propelling them to another time and place. In my work I try to convey a fragility in my pieces using nature and the boundaries of the concrete jungle we have created. I Hope  to find a balance that can be  created between art and current environmental issues in my work. I am also interested in Public Art because it gives me the opportunity to see how people from all walks of life interact with my sculptures/installations.  How do we coexist between the boundaries of nature and the Urban landscape we all share now. This is all reflected in my songs, my sculptures and other mediums.

My sculptures and paintings have been shown through out NYC and Internationally in Munich, Berlin, London. I have performed at Knitting factory, Dixon place, Jalopy theatre, and many more. My films have been shown at Anthology film archives NYC, Werkstadtkino in Munich,Jalopy theater and others. My sculpture is at  Museum am Dom in Wurzburg Germany and in private collections internationally.
